Every Mortal Kombat 11 player has characters they want to see in the Season Pass DLC. We already knew about Shang Tsung, but though rumors run rampant and teases were a plenty, nothing official had been set for the first MK11 Kombat Pack until now. We finally got our first look at who’s joining Shang Tsung in the first batch of DLC, including Nightwolf, Spawn, and more, as well as when DLC characters will be playable.
The first Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack was announced on May 31, 2019 on the official MK11 Twitter. A tease from Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios just days before clued players in on this day as when it would all be going down. Finally around 4:20 PM PST, we got our look. The trailer features Shang Tsung as the first character that was announced for DLC, but the other Kombat Pack characters also make their first appearance at long last. Spawn has been an absolute desire of many fans, and Nightwolf and Sindel missed out entirely on Mortal Kombat X. You can see the Season Pass DLC for the first Kombat Pack below.
Buying the Kombat Pack as a bundle will offer players a week's Early Access to characters, starting with Shang Tsung on June 18. As seen above, the full list of Kombat Pack characters includes:
- Shang Tsung
- Nightwolf
- Sindel
- Spawn
- 2 more unannounced characters
Some picks truly haven’t seen the light of day in a new Mortal Kombat game in some time. Though obviously players want for so many different characters in the game, seeing classics like Nightwolf and an absolute wanted guest character like Spawn makes for a much more interesting roster. It’s a shame we didn’t see fan favorites choices like Jarek make the cut yet, but given that NetherRealm is happy to share more than one wave of DLC and two characters are unaccounted for here, there’s still plenty of time to see who else makes the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.
