Throughout the tournament, Cloud9 put on an impressive display of dominance that ended with a tight series against TSM.

It has been a jam-packed few days in Dallas for DreamHack and one of the biggest crowds, as always, was in front of the Rocket League stage. An epic battle through a tough bracket saw an entire weekend of absolutely inspiring Rocket League action.

On Championship Sunday, it would be Cloud9 and TSM both earning their tickets to the Grand Finals after defeating very formidable opponents in Team Dignitas and Evil Geniuses respectively.

The first-to-four series to cap-off the whole weekend looked mighty close at times, but Cloud9 helmed by SquishyMuffins, proved that they have yet another gear to shift into when the clock is getting tight and the trophy is on the line.

Cloud9’s Rocket League team has long-since been known for their oppressive ability to keep up the pressure and make the risky 50/50’s when it’s something that they can afford to lose. This, among so many other things, is what has kept Cloud9 at or near the top of the world rankings when it comes to Rocket League.

Game 6 of their series against TSM could have gone either way until Cloud9 scored with under two minutes let to play. The rest was just a game of attrition. One that this specific Cloud9 team is going to win 9 times out of 10.

Currently, in Rocket League Esports, Cloud9 is third in their conference behind NRG Esports, and G2 Esports, both of whom were knocked out in the Semifinals of Group Stages by one of the two teams that played for the Championship.

Next up for the Rocket League Esports world is the Season 7 Championships live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on June 21st to 23rd.
