There are many reasons why this year’s set of E3 2019 Press Conferences are more enticing than the previous few, and that’s because we’re on the cusp of a new video game console generation. Which, makes things a bit odd looking at the full list of events, because only one of the major three console teams is going to be hosting a conference at E3, and that’s Microsoft.

The Xbox E3 Briefing, being the pinnacle showcase for those attending the expo has the potential to be the absolute highlight of the entirety of E3 2019.
What is the Xbox E3 Briefing?
2019’s Xbox E3 Briefing is going to show off a whole lot of new stuff that are both coming to current and future Xbox consoles, but as Microsoft moves and builds beyond just the home console market, the future of Xbox gaming.

According to the minimal information out there so far, the Xbox Briefing will most likely include information on the following:
- Xbox Games (many new and expected titles)
- Next Generation Xbox Console (codenamed Scarlett)
- PC Games Pass
- Software/Streaming Partnership with Sony
Microsoft isn’t super known for dropping huge bombs during their press conferences, but you can easily accept that they will attempt to go above and beyond this year due to their prime position.
When is the Xbox E3 Briefing?
Without having to try and compete with Sony or Nintendo this year -- both of those companies have shifted to pre-recorded online videos rather than live press conferences -- Microsoft had a run of the entire calendar to choose from but didn’t stray away from their common slot.

The Xbox E3 Briefing will be held on Sunday, June 9th, and will being at 1:00 PM Pacific Time.
