The latest addition to the playable Legends line-up was revealed mere minutes ago during EA Play live from E3 2019.

Introducing the Static Defender. The Season 2 content reveal live from EA Play at E3 2019 contained the newest addition to the Legends line-up.

Natalie "Wattson" Paquette is coming to Apex Legends. Yet another leak from a few months back, the battle royale game is getting it’s second healer just in time for the rest of the additions coming in Season 2 of the Apex Legends Battle Pass.

Natalie “Wattson” Paquette is a familiar face in the Apex Games, though for a different reason than most. Daughter of the Games’ lead electrical engineer, she studied his manuals to stay close to him, and discovered her calling at a young age. Though she could be completely distracted one moment and hyper-focused the next, electricity grounded her – its ordered, predictable flow made sense in a way the rest of the world didn’t.

The new Legend was introduced via an adorable animated intro trailer. Her father and Wattson created the very arena that competitors drop into in Apex Legends.

Wattson Abilities

Ever since she was a child, Paquette spent her formative years playing and learning within King's Canyon, which has led her to be capable of supplying her squad with some of the coolest abilities and support yet.

Passive - Spark of Genius

For her passive ability, Wattson will get a fully charged Ultimate with the use of just a single Ultimate Accelerant item. Instead of gaining just a portion of Ultimate charge, or having your entire team pour Accelerants into Lifeline, Wattson becomes the most obvious choice to use the item.

Spark of Genius also grants Wattson a boost to her tactical ability while she is standing near her pylons.

Tactical - Perimeter Security

Her utility ability allows Wattson to place down fence posts that create an electric barrier. You can place up to 12 posts, and whenever an enemy runs through it they are stunned and slowed. Allies who travel through the barrier are unharmed, but they cause the fence to shut-down for a brief second in order to pass through safely.

Ultimate - Interception Pylon

Wattson’s Ultimate is an anti-air pylon that spins really fast and boosts Wattson's ability cooldowns as well as constantly repairs damaged player shields within range, all while keeping projectiles away from any and all allies within a certain area around her Ultimate.

The latest support player to come to Apex Legends will arrive alongside the Battle Pass for Season 2 of Apex Legends which is arriving on July 2nd.

Fans that are attending the EA Play event live at E3 2019 will get a chance to play Wattson for the first time before the rest of the world get their shot, and we're really excited to bring you a full play guide as soon as Wattson launches.
