According to one of the larger french-language gaming and entertainment sites (JeuxVideo), there is a big chance that Nintendo’s legendary Designer/Producer will be making an appearance on-stage during the Microsoft Xbox E3 2019 Briefing that is taking place in less than an hour.

There have been many rumors regarding an extended partnership between Xbox and Nintendo -- two companies that have been part of the consoles wars for decades -- and with all eyes on Xbox today, it may be the perfect time to go into some grander details. According to plans, the Xbox Briefing is going to run a few hours long, and will contain up to 20 reveals.
The Nintendo Switch console has recently been granted publishing rights for some of the most popular indie Xbox games, and there is some word that Xbox Games Pass (in some capacity) will launch on the platform in the near future as well.

Poking around a bit, there isn’t a whole lot of evidence that a surprise appearance is afoot, but then it wouldn’t be a very good surprise, would it?
Probably the biggest hint at something coming from the two companies as a pair would be the Xbox accounts sharing an E3 2019 schedule that includes the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday. Sure, all of the other conferences are on that schedule too, but for the most part Xbox is part of those talks. Could it be they are part of Nintendo’s as well?

JeuxVideo and Le Stream shared a tweet by Tom Phillips, a member of the Eurogamer news team, tweeted a picture of his Xbox E3 2019 Briefing badge, while wearing a pride shirt that has a Mother logo on it (a popular Nintendo RPG). The text of the tweet says “Let’s-a-go!” with a winky face, but all of that is more-likely just video game references for reference sake rather than letting anyone in on something secret.
