Gears of War 5 was officially revealed at E3 2018 and quickly grabbed the attention of the community. However, an official release date had not yet been announced for Gears of War 5. This changed on Sunday, June 9th when the Xbox E3 2019 press conference finally confirmed the release date for Gears of War 5. 

Gears of War 5 Release Date

The Gears of War 5 presentation at the Xbox E3 2019 press conference began with a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated game. This trailer was then followed by the official announcement of the release date for Gears of War 5. Fans of the legendary video game franchise will be able to jump into everything that the latest entry has to offer on September 10th, 2019. 

While the release date for the game was one of the major highlights of the title's presentation at E3 2019, there were plenty of other announcements for the new game. These announcements included the reveal of a brand new multiplayer mode for the game that will see players take control of COG soldiers invade and destroy the homes of the Swarm. A Terminator: Dark Fate pre-order bonus crossover was also announced where players who pre-order the title will get an exclusive Terminator character skin to use in their battles. 

It was also stated that more information regarding the new game will be revealed to the community this summer. This will likely consist of new gameplay footage and more information about the inner workings of what should be one of the biggest games coming this Fall when its release date arrives.
