One of the largest video games of all-time is finally coming to the west thanks to Microsoft.

One of Japan’s largest video games period, let alone MMO’s, is coming to North America as part of the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing announcements list. Coming in Spring of 2020, Phantasy Star Online 2 is going to bring a never-ending adventure stateside.

There’s a whole lot of excitement at the revealed return of Phantasy Star to the Microsoft family of consoles. Back in 2006, the Xbox 360 played home to Phantasy Star Universe and now, we’re finally getting back into the Phantasy Star realm of massively multiplayer online experiences.

The best part is, Phantasy Star Online 2 is free-to-play. The game was first released back in 2012 in the Japan region and has built up one of the largest player-bases in all of gaming right now. Next year, with the help of cross-play, a whole new region of Phantasy Star fans will get an opportunity to jump into the grand adventure.

For all of the news and reveals live from the show floor of press conferences, keep it locked on our E3 2019 hub.
