Fallout 76 is Finally Getting NPCs and Questlines - Bethesda E3 2019

You've done the dirty work and survived the harshness of the Wasteland. Now, take part in sprawling quests with the return of the population in Fallout 76.

There were so many reasons to both love and be greatly disappointed by the product released to the world with Fallout 76. The idea was an astounding shift from the normal Fallout role-playing games that the world has adored for decades. The introduction of a living(ish) breathing world and constant online multiplayer shook things up, but it launched so poorly.

Now, roughly half-a-year after the game launched and a year after the game was revealed, Bethesda Games Studios is attempting to right some big wrongs.

Namely, they are finally bringing NPCs into the world. Unfortunately, the developers on-stage to present the update went ahead and pretended like this was the plan all along, when really that’s extremely unlikely.

Alongside the return of people -- thanks to your reclamation of the wasteland that is West Virginia, players will get to interact with those NPCs and take part in long quest lines with full-blown Fallout-style dialog trees.

Wastelanders, the newest update, will hit Fallout 76 later this year. To make up for some spotty performances, and the criticism faced at launch, everything added to Fallout 76 in the coming months will be free to all players.

Fallout 76 Batlle Royale?

After the big update announcement, Bethesda Game Studios revealed that a large Battle Royale game mode will be added called Fallout 76 Nuclear Winter
