As part of the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct, Marvel Games and Nintendo revealed more information about the upcoming Ultimate Alliance 3.

During the Nintendo Direct for E3 2019, we finally got some more gameplay footage of the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Best of all, we were given the tiniest peek at some of the long list of characters coming to the newest addition to the franchise.

While Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is set to hit the store and digital shelves on July 19th of 2019, it’s beyond the initial release that has us all very excited. There is an extensive library of characters under the Marvel umbrella, and it seems that Team Ninja isn’t going to shy away from using them. In the future that is.

Appearances in the Teaser

We got a quick look at some fresh new faces in the latest trailer during the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct. Our first look at characters like Miles Morales, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Kamala Khan, Thor, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Scarlet Witch and more. Including Elsa Bloodstone, who first appeared in the Bloodstone mini-series from 2001.

Expansion Pass Announced

Part of the trailer revealed that Team Ninja and Nintendo will be bringing a long series of DLC packs to Ultimate Alliance 3. These packs include Marvel Knights (which includes Daredevil’s super-hero team of Black Widow, Dagger, Moon Knight and more), characters from the X-Men series (they show Magneto and Wolverine in the trailer), and the Fantastic 4 cast.

The Ultimate Alliance 3 extended universe packs are going to be dropping over the course of time, starting in the Fall of 2019.
