Guy "Dr DisRespect" Beahm is one of the most popular streamers on the platform of Twitch with his Dr DisRespect character routinely pulling in tens of thousands of viewers. With a very large following, there was plenty of excitement when Dr DisRespect was conducting his very first in real life stream (IRL) at E3 2019, as the Twitch streamer can usually be found streaming his playing of battle royale and first-person shooter games. However, the first IRL stream for the gaming personality did not end well, as Dr DisRespect was banned from Twitch after his IRL stream recorded the streamer going into a public bathroom at E3 2019.
Why Did Dr DisRespect Get Banned From Twitch?
The high-profile content creator had been conducting an IRL stream at E3 2019 when he entered a public bathroom at the convention's venue. The streamer's cameraman followed him into the bathroom and continued broadcasting the stream. This led to the account of the streamer being banned, as the act of viewing the inside of a public bathroom with a camera is a crime in California, and the streaming of illegal acts is against the terms of service for Twitch in addition to not allowing streamers to record someone against their will.
Dr DisRespect also had his E3 badge revoked following the bathroom stream incident occurring.
How Long is Dr DisRespect Banned From Twitch?
The account of the gaming personality is currently still banned from the platform. Neither the streamer or the platform have addressed the situation publicly, so it is not clear exactly how long the personality will be banned from being able to stream on the platform. We will continue to update this article with information regarding when the streamer will be able to return to streaming when it is made available.
While the first IRL stream for Dr DisRespect had been a highly anticipated event for the streamer's fans, it ended with the Doc's Twitch account being banned and uncertainty regarding the future of the streamer on the popular platform.
