The hype and anticipated for the latest large expansion for Final Fantasy XIV has almost reached its absolute peak, and now Square Enix has brought together two of the most underappreciated comedic talents today in a tv spot trailer.
Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Uncharted: The Movie) and Hannibal Buress (TAG, Spider-Man: Homecoming) are a match made in heaven when it comes to easily friendly and synchronized comedic riffing.
In their commercial for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers the pair are preparing for the launch of the large expansion, and Holland is taking his training to become a Warrior of Darkness a little too seriously.
The best part of the trailer is when Holland and Buress are sitting on the bed and Buress goes into detail about how Holland is a gamer on the inside and all you have to do is play to be a gamer. This is touching for so many reasons, and the biggest of all is because gamers have a tendency to be critical regarding who can deem themselves as a gamer. Buress knows, you play games, and you’re a gamer.
With the expansion, two new classes and a whole large load of new missions and storylines to take part in. Shadowbringers is one of the biggest expansions to hit Final Fantasy XIV since the launch of the game back in 2010.
