One of the major subjects the GG Podcast tackles is the balance of health and wellness vs gaming for long materials of time. Each of them speak to their personal experience with striking the balance in their lives between playing games or doing other less-active tasks and looking after themselves, especially as they get older. Even former NBA player Rick Fox admits to how easy it is to fall into the habit of gaming all the time and losing track of staying in shape. That said, the podcast discusses how to create better habits between work, games, and life.

After a break, the trio returns to talk about trolling and toxicity. Looking back at some of the earlier instances of trolling and toxicity in gaming (including a story about Ultima Online), how it has changed over the years, what constitutes actually trolling or toxicity nowadays, GG Podcast discuss the million-dollar question - How do you curb the issue? The squad discusses notable League of Legends player Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp, who was originally banned and ultimately returned to the game after the ban as a self-proclaimed reformed player. Jace Hall also breaks down the difference between types of trolling, such as griefing, intentional feeding, and more, as well as the effects of trolling and toxicity on the mental health of some players.

As an aside, Rick Fox speaks to an experience which brought the toxic ire of teammates in his climb through League of Legends. Bringing his mood to never give to League, Fox eventually learned that sometimes it’s better to realize when to leave a match where winning isn’t possible.

Kyle Fox is also called in on this episode to speak to his experience with trolling, what he believes the actual problem and solution may be, how companies like Riot Games have attempted to tackle trolling, and more.
