Are you ready to watch some of the greatest speedrunning the world over in support of charity? Here's all you need to know about SGDQ 2019.

Good news speedrunning fans, we’re just two days away from the start of the premier running event Summer Games Done Quick 2019 where most of the world’s greatest speedrunners take part in a week-long charity live-stream.

Over the course of the next week (starting Sunday), every moment of every day will have some amazing speedrunning content streamed live online, or available in person for those able to make it to SGDQ2019. 

What is SGDQ?

Games Done Quick is a group dedicated to the celebration and giving nature of the speedrunning community and gamers of all kinds. Twice a year GDQ hosts a huge charity live-stream that runs for an entire week at a time. In the spring, Awesome Games Done Quick benefits

Summer Games Done Quick - Doctors Without Borders

Over the course of the week, a Games Done Quick even props up the world’s best speedrunners who are able to apply to run any type of game in any type of run. Runs range from a few minutes, all the way up to more than a handful of hours. 

When is SGDQ 2019? 

Starting this Sunday, June 23rd, the Summer Games Done Quick schedule will run across an entire week, all culminating in the grand finale where Puwexil will be running Chrono Trigger Glitchless Any% on Saturday, June 29th.

How to Watch SGDQ 2019

All of the Summer Games Done Quick action will be streamed live on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel. VODs after the fact will be available on both Twitch and their YouTube channels.
