It would appear Nightwolf's Mortal Kombat 11 appearance is fast approaching. Ed Boon recently dropped a huge tease of the Nightwolf in MK11.

Those who have been waiting to sink their teeth into Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 11 will be thrilled to know he will probably be the next MK11 character coming up in the first Kombat Pack. Ed Boon recently dropped a huge teaser of the character and with CEO 2019 going on this weekend, it seems more than likely we could see a trailer, and if not, probably a Kombat Kast coming soon.

Many believed Sindel would be the next character in the Mortal Kombat 11 Season Pass after Shang Tsung launched, but on June 28, 2019, NetherRealm Studios head Ed Boon posted a blatant hint on his Twitter. The post contained an image of someone with a tomahawk facing down Shang Tsung. Being in that there’s pretty much only one character in all of Mortal Kombat that rocks the hawks, it’s pretty obvious we got our first glimpse of Nightwolf’s MK11 appearance.

Nightwolf, like Shang Tsung, wasn’t playable at all in Mortal Kombat X, and so we expect that his return will likely bring quite a few changes. If Shang Tsung’s Variations were any indication, NetherRealm will likely make a style of Nightwolf that plays entirely true to his traditional ways, as well something altogether unique for Mortal Kombat 11. We’ll probably see a revenant form as well considering… spoilers… he died in Mortal Kombat 9 and has been dead through Mortal Kombat X like the future forms of Kung Lao, Kitana, Jade, and Liu Kang.

With Shang Tsung released and Nightwolf all but confirmed next, that leaves Sindel, Spawn, and two unconfirmed characters left to see in the first MK11 Kombat Pack. We’ll have more as information on these characters becomes available, but keep your eyes peeled, especially on the CEO 2019 Finals come June 30. If we were betting money, we’d bet on seeing a brand new reveal of Nightwolf then.
