With the latest content update, many things are coming to the shores of Kul Tiras and Zandalar, but almost none as desired as the ability to fly.

The Rise of Azshara content update is absolutely filled with new tweaks and features to the current World of Warcraft end-game gameplay. This includes new changes to the Heart of Azeroth system, multiple new zones, new gear, and a brand new raid.

With the hype surrounding the release of World of Warcraft in less than 60 Days, it makes sense that Blizzard would release a huge content update to their retail version of the game.

How to Unlock Flying in BFA

First off, you have to know that unless you have earned the achievement Azeroth Pathfinder, Part One already in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, you will have to do that before you can move on.

In the Rise of Azshara patch, players will have the opportunity to earn the second half of the Azeroth Pathfinder achievement series, and as a result, gain the ability to fly over the newest lands.

Everything you need to do:

  • Reach Revered with the following factions: The Rustbolt Resistance and either the Unshackled (Horde) or Waveblade Ankoan (Alliance)
  • Earn the achievement Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part One (progress is account-wide)
  • Explore Nazjatar: Ashen Strand, Azsh’ari Terrace, Coral Forest, Deepcoil Tunnels, Dragon’s Teeth Basin, The Drowned Market, Elun’alor Temple, The Empress’s Approach, Gate of the Queen, The Hanging Reef, Kal’methi, Shirakess Repository, Spears of Azshara, Zanj’ir Terrace, Zanj’ir Wash, Zin-Azshari
  • Explore Mechagon: Rustbolt, Sparkweaver Point, Junkwatt Depot, The Heaps, Scrapbone Den, Western Spray, The Outflow, The Fleeting Forest

Once you’ve completed Azeroth Pathfinder, Part two achievement you will be able to fly in all zones. This includes both Zandalar, Kul Tiras, and the two newly added areas from the Azshara content update; Mechagon and Nazjatar.

Wonderwing 2.0 Mount

Battle for Azeroth is filled with many opportunities to grind things out and put in some time, and earning your ability to fly in BFA -- along with the Wonderwing 2.0 mechanical parrot mount -- is no different.

Get out there and earn your wings heroes!
