It is no secret that the new League of Legends game mode of Teamfight Tactics has become a hit in the video game community. As with other hit multiplayer titles, Twitch Rivals will be organizing a Teamfight Tactics tournament in what will be the first official competitive event for the popular League of Legends game mode. 

Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics

The highly anticipated Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics tournament will be taking place on July 17th and 18th. 64 streamers will be competing in order to secure the very first Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics championship and the lion's share of the $125,000 prize pool that will both be up for grabs in the upcoming competition. 

A full roster and format announcement for the event will take place on July 8th where fans will find out if their favorite streamers will be competing in the first tournament for the League of Legends game mode that has taken over the video game world. 

Day One of the competition will see two groups of 32 streamers compete against each other in order to be one of the top 16 players that will be vying for the Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics tournament championship on Day Two. 

Twitch Rivals has seen plenty of success in the past organizing League of Legends tournaments, so it will be very interesting to see how many eyes the upcoming tournament will bring. With the game mode already having shown that it can draw in plenty of viewers on the streaming platform, the first official tournament has the potential to secure some impressive viewership numbers, especially if there are a multitude of high-profile personalities competing in the event.
