Apex Legends Season 2 is upon us with a new character, new gun, and a season of changes. Here are the latest details on when Season 2 starts.

EA and Respawn Entertainment’s team battle royale Apex Legends is finally in the home stretch for Season 2 content. We’ve heard plenty about what Battle Charge has to offer, but now pretty much only the biggest question remains: When does Apex Season 2 Start? Well, for those curious, here’s what and when to expect the latest Apex Legends content to land.

When Does Apex Legends Season 2 Start?

There’s no official time for the start of Apex Legends Season 2. We only know the exact day, which is July 2, 2019. However, there is some precedent to go by for it. In the past, previous Apex Legends content drops have taken place at 1PM EST. That’s been patches and season content. There’s plenty of examples to say that Apex Season 2 will also start at 1PM EST. It could deviate, but likely it won’t be by much. For those who have missed out, you can catch the launch trailer just below from the Apex Legends Twitter.

With Battle Charge comes a slew of new changes to the game. A fresh battle pass brings new rewards to the game, and a new Battle Charge patch will rebalance existing content alongside the new goods. A Ranked Queue and daily and weekly challenges will offer players fresh ways to pursue progress and advancement in the game.

Meanwhile, new legend Wattson will offer us a new defensive angle with her electric fences ability and defensive ultimate which is capable of shooting down ordinance like grenades and ultimates like that of Bangalore’s Rolling Thunder ultimate. The L-Star also brings variety to the higher tier weapons of the game, acting as a rapid fire plasma rifle with an overheating mechanism requiring players to take care if they want to gun foes down.

Are you ready to take up arms in Apex Season 2? We know we are. Get ready to hit a heavily altered Kings Canyon on July 2.
