The Street Fighter League has been an interesting series of competition for the Street Fighter V scene. Though many initially questioned the format which allowed characters to be banned, there’s no doubt that the weeks of competition have produced quite some results as teams vie for position in the standings and bragging rights. With the curtain falling on the first SFL League season, Capcom is already gearing up for Street Fighter League Season 2. Online Qualifiers have been announced and are now open.
Season 2’s opening was announced on July 2 on the Capcom Fighters Twitter. Outside of voting, players can also attempt to win their place in the League via Online Qualifiers hosted through the Smash.gg League event page. Qualifiers will be separated by East and West US regions with events taking place for specific times and pertaining to specific states in the US.
