Ed Boon is at it again. If you've been waiting to see fallen Edenian Queen Sindel in her Mortal Kombat 11 appearance, then you won't want to miss this.

Ed Boon can best be described as sneaky, yet wonderful. He both gives us exactly what we want and holds it just out of reach. It wasn’t long ago that he teased Nightwolf’s first appearance for Mortal Kombat 11, but we’ve heard little since. Nonetheless, Boon isn’t entirely leaving us hanging. He’s come back, this time with a look at the sinister siren Sindel, giving our first look at her in MK11.

Ed Boon went to his personal Twitter with a look at Sindel on July 8, 2019. This time around, Boon made with a little wordplay for the fallen Edenian queen.

“7 deadly Sindels,” Boon writes, though we get the feeling wrath is the one Sindel will be tapping most once more.

That said, a picture is a thousand words as the cliché goes. Along with his punny goodness, Boon gave us our first look at Mortal Kombat 11’s Sindel, and she is looking cold to say the least.

In her revenant form once more, many will remember Sindel in Mortal Kombat 2011 (spoiler alert on a near decade-old game) as the one who killed many of EarthRealm and Outworld’s heroes before Nightwolf sacrificed himself to finally bring her down. Her sonic screams, hairplay, and levitation abilities make her a nasty force to be reckoned with and her gameplay translated thusly into an annoyingly flighty zoning strategy, not unlike Cetrion or Kollector.

As we expected with Nightwolf and from what we saw with Shang Tsung, we feel safe in assuming that at least one of Sindel’s tournament variations will be true to her 2011 Mortal Kombat form while another may go a little to a lot off the beaten path. Either way, it’s good to have a glimpse of what’s coming. If Sindel plays as good as she looks even after dying twice, then we’re probably in for a good time of punishing the fools that refuse to bend the knee before her when she comes out later on in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack.
