With all of the Quarterfinals action behind us, the two Semifinals matchups have been set. Here's a look.

Day one of the Overwatch League’s Stage 3 Playoffs brought a single expected outcome in the easily handled victory of the Vancouver Titans over the Houston Outlaws, before presenting the world of OWL with a deliciously surprising upset of the NYXL at the hands of the Shanghai Dragons

Today, the other two Quarterfinals matches took place, and with the San Francisco Shock pulling off a bounce-back victory over the Seoul Dynasty, and the Los Angeles Valiant taking their series against the Hangzhou Spark in 5 Maps, we have a full look at tomorrow’s Semifinal round.

Shanghai Dragons vs Vancouver Titans

There’s no doubt that the Titans will have their work cut out for them tomorrow against the Dragons, but will those feisty Shanghai players be able to take down two of the league’s best in order to advance to the Grand Finals Sunday? We doubt it. However, this Semifinals head-to-head has the most potential to be electric.

Vancouver managed to shake off some meta-shifting rust this stage, and have once again emerged from the regular stage play looking like the scariest team in professional Overwatch.

Los Angeles Valiant vs San Francisco Shock

With how bad the LA Valiant have been over the course of the year, no one would have predicted that we’d get to see a playoff version of the California Cup, but here we are. In their Semifinals matchup against the SF Shock, the Valiant pose a real threat to at Stage 2 Champions team in the Shock that haven’t seemed all that firm-footed over the course of Stage 3.

With their nearly flawless execution in Stage 2, the Shock entered the Stage 3 playoffs in the fourth seed after failing to maintain their dominance from the previous portion of the season. It’s a bit of a toss-up as to who will proceed beyond that

The Bracket

Tune-in tomorrow (Saturday, July 13th) starting at 7:00 PM Pacific Time as the Dragons take on the Titans, followed by the Shock versus the Valiant.
