TwitchCon is set to feature several Twitch Rivals competitions across the likes of Apex Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and more.

We’re more than a little time out from the next TwitchCon, but it hasn’t stopped Twitch Rivals from making major plans on the annual streamer convention. It would appear we’ll be getting a few different Twitch Rivals events during TwitchCon, and participants will be battling for their part of a combined prize pool totally over $1 million.

Announced on August 9, 2019 via Twitter and the TwitchCon event site, Twitch Rivals is set to feature competitions throughout the weekend of the event on September 27 to September 29 in San Diego, California. The first day will feature Fortnite, day 2 will be centered around League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, and Apex Legends will have the spotlight on day 3. On each day, a mix of streamers and superstars will play, and in some cases, even attendees will have a chance to qualify and play against them in the competition.

In addition to the events at TwitchCon, Twitch Rivals will also launch qualifying events on what is called the Twitch Rivals: Road to TwitchCon series in all of the games to be featured at the event. Partners and Twitch affiliates from across North America and Europe will have the opportunity to earn their spot in the TwitchCon Twitch Rivals events, including earning travel and lodgings to, at, and from the event. The Apex Legends Road to TwitchCon will be on August 28-29, League of Legends Road to TwitchCon on September 4-5, and a second Apex Legends Road to TwitchCon on September 9. All Twitch Rivals competitions will be streamed on the Twitch Rivals Twitch channel. Further rules and details will be announced closer to each event.

With so much money and opportunity on the line, we’re slated to see a good couple months of Twitch Rivals competition. As more details become available on Twitch Rivals at TwitchCon, we’ll be sure to share them here.
