Fortnite streaming star and professional player Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo has signed a multi-year contract with ReKTGlobal, the parent company of esports team Rogue.
DrLupo has been involved with Rogue for some time now as the captain of their Fortnite and Junior Rogue team, but the new deal gives the streamer equity in ReKTGlobal and will see him representing the esports organization in a bigger fashion at events, sponsorship activations and during streams.
Going, going - @DrLupo has gone Rogue. Again. ?

We're excited about what the next 2 years holds, and DrLupo will be an integral part of pushing our organization, teams, and future forward. You ready, Rogue Nation? #GoRogue pic.twitter.com/kpm7JXE4wP
Lupo will be directly involved in the organization of Rogue Nation, the fan subscription service offering behind-the-scenes access to professional players and streamers, as well as Junior Rogue, the organization’s semesterly training program which aims to help young Fornite players find their feet in the competitive world.
"Rogue encompasses professionalism at its finest in the esports industry,” DrLupo said in the press release. “The relationships that I've developed within Rogue feel like no other - the only word I can use to truly describe the feeling is 'family.' They're goal-oriented without losing focus on what is most important in gaming: fun. I'm excited to continue to work with Rogue and ReKTGlobal on a ton of exciting upcoming adventures, and I cannot wait to get more people involved."
DrLupo regularly features his wife and young son on streams, and is well known for raising money for charity through gaming. In 2019 was named the inaugural Content Creator of the Year by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after he raised nearly $1 million for them during a charity livestream. ReKTGlobal cited DrLupo’s charity work alongside his family values as strong factors in their decision to partner with him.
“Ben, otherwise known as DrLupo, is the rarest of the rare in esports,” CEO of ReKTGlobal Dave Bialek said in the press release. “He is part celebrity and part philanthropist. He is an individual superstar and the Captain of Rogue’s Fortnite and Junior Rogue teams,” he continued. “His family values and support for Rogue and ReKTGlobal make him the only choice to serve at the face of our growing organization. We are thrilled to have him as an integral part of the company.”
DrLupo’s partnership with ReKTGlobal follows on from the likes of musicians Imagine Dragons and Steve Aoki who’ve previously signed deals with the esports company.
