The PlayStation State of Play has become much like Sony’s version of the beloved Nintendo Directs. It’s when we get to see all of the goodies that PlayStation has in store in the near and far future. New trailers, news, and information on the hottest upcoming topics regarding the console is expected and there’s a State of Play coming rather soon. Here’s what you need to know about where and when to watch.
The latest PlayStation State of Play was announced on September 19, 2019 via the PlayStation Twitter and website. With a small teaser, we learned that the latest State of Play will be coming to us on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 1PM PST / 4PM EST. The broadcast will be live on PlayStation’s YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch pages and is expected to run for around 20 minutes according to the folks at Sony. The Twitch broadcast can also be seen below when it airs.

With games like Death Stranding knocking on our door in November 2019, Ghosts of Tsushima coming after that, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on our collective radars, and much more, it will be interesting to see what this September PlayStation State of Play has in store for us. Will we see further developments on the creative project, Dreams? Will there be something new in terms of games, new things for the PSVR, or info on the much anticipated PlayStation 5? What kind of surprises could we see this Tuesday? There’s a lot hanging in the air, but thankfully we don’t have to wait too long for our questions to be answered.
