We've seen all sorts of fun changes to the Fortnite map, but recent leaks have suggested that we may be headed for a new battleground in Season 11.

Seems like it’s a time of drastic changes in Battle Royale games. Apex Legends recently launched the World’s Edge map, taking players away from King’s Landing to battle in a new icy and fiery locale. Now it would seem Fortnite is doing the same. New leaks have pointed to the idea that we may be getting a new map when Season 11 launches.

It was Fortnite leak twitter ShiinaBR that first posted an interesting set of images that had apparently landed on the Apple app store a little early on October 11, 2019. These images showed off more than a little fresh content, pasted with the prominent subtitle of “Chapter 2”. Besides that interesting bit, there were plenty of other neat hints at what we’ll be getting in this Fortnite Chapter 2 experience. Clearly, the image was that of a new map, but more than that, there were boats skimming around in the waters of it. Does that mean we’ll be getting these new aquatic vehicles in Fortnite Season 11?

This is all currently hearsay at this time. Nothing is confirmed just yet, although signs are pointing increasingly to the beginning of an era and the beginning of a new one. Another Fortnite leaker and dataminer, FortTory recently found that the banner currently up on Fortnite in the App Store was labeled “Last Stop.” FortTory claims this is the first time Fortnite has ever done something like this instead of just posting a glimpse of new skins for the new season.

Whatever we’re getting, it would be cool for Fortnite to drastically change up the playing field. Over at Apex Legends, World’s Edge has proven to be an incredibly refreshing experience as it replaces the original King’s Row map for the time being. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is also no stranger to new maps and content. Fortnite has been doing a good job of changing up its map for a while, but an altogether fresh area would likely be a pretty good time.

As we await confirmation on new content, stay tuned for the latest on Fortnite new maps, Season 11, and a supposed Chapter 2!
