We're getting into the festive times of the year and Rocket League is ready to deliver. Psyonix has laid out a roadmap for Winter 2019, including a new Rocket Pass and rewards.

We’re still a ways out from the heart of the holiday season in 2019, but Psyonix is ready to rocket and roll. They’ve announced a fresh road map leading up to Winter 2019 and there’s a cavalcade of goodies waiting for both competitive players and those looking to unlock some fresh skins and customizations for their cars.

Psyonix laid out their Winter 2019 plans on October 23, 2019 in a blog post on the Rocket League website. Some of it was already known, such as retreading the announcement of the RLCS Season 8 World Championship in Madrid Spain in December. However, there were some fun and new announcements as well, one of which was the reveal of animated decals. By playing competitive modes and achieving various Season Reward Levels, players can earn these special decals when Season 12 ends in December to be attached to any customizable vehicle. You can get a look at these decals in the video below.

In addition to the animated decals, other announcements in the Rocket League Winter 2019 Roadmap included that the first three DLC packs of Rocket League - Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run - will be made available to all Rocket League players at no cost. Furthermore, inventory archiving will be coming to the customization menus of Rocket League to allow players to archive certain items into a new, collected tab of items, allowing players to more easily navigate to the items they want to find quickly. Just as well, the new holiday event, Frosty Fest 2019 is slated to bring new event items and rewards to the game in mid-December.

Finally, Pysonix announced that the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) National Championship is coming to the Esports Stadium in Arlington Texas. Tickets are on sale for the event now.

With their plans laid out and RLCS Season 8 currently well underway, we have a lot of good casual and competitive Rocket League goodies to look forward to. Be sure to stay tuned for the latest news and info on Rocket League as it becomes available.
