The infamous 725 shotgun will be on the receiving end of another update that should hopefully reduce its over-powered nature in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

There are a plethora of weapons available for players to use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, as with every Call of Duty game, some guns prove themselves to be a cut above the rest. Unfortunately, the 725 shotgun in Modern Warfare has been a tad too powerful and has overtaken public lobbies.

A vast majority of the first-person shooter's community have voiced their concerns with how powerful the 725 shotgun is in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This concern led to developer Infinity Ward nerfing the 725 shotgun in the title's 1.07 update. These nerfs increased the spread size of the weapon when aiming down the sights and firing from the hip. They also decreased the damage range of the 725 shotgun.

Many players were happy to see changes come to the 725 shotgun, but others still believe more changes are needed to make the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare more balanced. Fortunately for these individuals, another update to the hated weapon is coming in the future.

Joe Cecot, Co-Design Director of Multiplayer at Infinity Ward, recently took to Twitter and stated that another "tweak" is coming to the 725 shotgun that will affect the shotgun's "rare very long shot."

There is no doubt that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community is hoping for this future adjustment for the 725 shotgun will stop the weapon from being extremely over-powered.
