Wang Sicong is one of the most recognizable names in the world of esports, thanks to being a founder of Invictus Gaming and the CEO of PandaTV. However, the high-profile personality looks to be in some financial trouble.
According to a report by South China Morning Post, Sicong is currently $21.6 million in debt following his involvement in a lawsuit last December for $515,000 from Cao Yue. Yue is a former PandaTV host.
The court order was handed down after Socong had reportedly refused to follow the court's ruling. This ruling consisted of Sicong being ordered to provide compensation in the form of 3.6 million yuan to a business rival in a lawsuit concerning the employment of a member of Sicong's staff who had previously worked for his rival.
The court has also banned wang Sicong from engaging in a variety of activities. These activities include staying at star-rated hotels, first-class travel, buying luxury goods and property, and visiting nightclubs or playing golf.
