The high-profile esports organization of 100 Thieves has been one of the top teams in the world of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) following its acquisition of the former Renegades CS:GO roster. Unfortunately for 100 Thieves CS:GO fans, they will not be able to see their favorite team compete in one of the next major events for the first-person shooter's esports scene.
Thursday, November 21st, saw the official DreamHack Counter-Strike Twitter account announce that 100 Thieves will no longer be able to compete at the DreamHack Open Winter 2019 competition. DreamHack stated that a replacement team would soon be revealed to take the organization's open spot.
