Former NRG Apex legends player dizzy was regarded as one of the most talented players of the battle royale title.

The historic rise in popularity that Apex Legends saw following its release in February of 2019 saw a multitude of players also become high-profile professional players and content creators. One of these individuals who has become a popular gaming personality thanks to their skill at Apex Legends was Colby "dizzy" Meadows, who spent his career competing and streaming for NRG Esports. However, the competitive career for dizzy has officially ended.

The former NRG player took to his Twitter account on December 10th and announced that he was retiring from professional play and would be stepping away from the NRG organization.

"Some of you may have noticed that over the past few months, my stream has been inconsistent. I've had some personal challenges and needed to decide what my passion was going to be. After a lot of contemplation, I have finally made my decision," said dizzy in his retirement post.

"As of today, I'm starting a new chapter in my life and have decided to focus on my stream part ways with NRG and will no longer be competing professionally," stated dizzy.

There is no doubt that dizzy has created a fantastic path for himself in the world of streaming already and will continue to see success going forward.
