Apex Legends Global Series Officially Revealed

The Apex Legends esports scene will be getting a major boost in 2020 with the Apex Legends Global Series offering an extremely lucrative prize pool.

Apex Legends has become one of the most popular multiplayer video games in the world and has seen a passionate esports scene emerge from its community. Now, Respawn Entertainment is ready to take the esports scene of its high-profile battle royale game to the next level with the Apex Legends Global Series. 

The Apex Legends Global Series was revealed on Tuesday, December 18th, and will see be providing a great deal of support, stability, and prize money to the esports scene of the title. 

There will be 12 global live events taking place for the Apex Legends Global Series throughout 2020. These 12 global live events will also be accompanied by online events where any player can show off their skills and begin their path to becoming a professional. 

A total prize pool of $3,000,000 will be up for grabs during the Apex Legends Global Series. 

PC players from more than 60 countries will be eligible to enter and compete in all of the Apex Legends Global Series competitions. These competitions will be split into four different categories that include Online, Challenger, Premier, and Majors.
