Maps have been a major discussion point in the Call of Duty community regarding Modern Warfare, and it looks as though Infinity Ward is working on bringing more 6v6 ones to the title.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brought plenty of changes to the high-profile first-person shooter franchise in 2019. One of the most significant changes was the addition of maps designed for teams of 10 and 20 players to battle each other on in addition to traditional Call of Duty maps intended for groups of six players to compete on.

However, one of the biggest complaints from the community regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been that developer Infinity Ward put too many of these larger maps into the game and that there should be more 6v6 maps available for players to play on.

This is why it is not surprising to see that one of the Infinity Ward developers recently revealed on Twitter that the studio is currently working on bringing more 6v6 maps to the latest entry in the popular series.

Joel Emslie, Infinity Ward Art Director, recently responded to a player on Twitter who told the developer that the community needed more 6v6 maps for Modern Warfare and stated that they were working on the issue "as fast as we humanly can."

Fortunately for those who have been wanting more 6v6 maps to be available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, there looks to be some on the horizon that will be added to the title in the future. However, Emslie did not reveal any information regarding when players could expect to see these new 6v6 maps be inserted into the game.
