The Overwatch League has lost another member of its broadcast team ahead of its third season.

The Overwatch League will be kicking off its third season shortly in what will be the first year that the franchises of the Overwatch League will be traveling around the world competing at homestead events hosted by each of the teams in their home cities.

However, the personalities that will make up the broadcast team communicating all of the action to fans will be looking much different than the first two seasons. Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykkles, Erik "DoA" Lonnquist, and Chris Puckett all previously announced that they would not be returning to the broadcast team for Season 3. Now, Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat will be joining the other departed Overwatch League talent.

Semmler took to his Twitter account on Monday, January 13th, to announce that he will not be casting full-time for the Overwatch League in 2020.

The fan-favorite Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) caster had been a member of the Overwatch League broadcast team ever since its inception, but will now not be helping to deliver the league's action to fans when the 2020 season kicks off.

It will not surprising to see many of the CS:GO tournament organizers reach out to Semmler and have the famed caster return to the scene where he became a household name in the esports industry.
