Fans attending the League Championship Series going forward will be seeing a lot of Bud Light.

The rise of the esports industry has been marked by high-profile brands becoming partners with the scenes and helping in terms of sponsorship endeavors and more. One of the latest major brand deals to be announced for the esports industry came on Tuesday, January 21st, when the League Championship Series (LCS) announced that Bud Light is now the official beer of the LCS.

This new partnership between Bud Light and the LCS will see the popular alcoholic beverage be served at all LCS events via mobile bars and beer gardens. However, Bud Light will be helping with much more than just serving beer at LCS matches.

Bud Light will also be providing "How I LCS" themed viewing parties, taking on the role of presenting partner for the "Ace Moment" on LCS broadcasts, and supplying the new LCS Monday Night League post-match show. The two entities will also be working together on producing an exclusive weekly LCS wrap up show for the Bud Light Twitch channel that will feature LCS talent, special guests, and mysterious easter eggs.

The LCS has become one of the most popular esports leagues in the world and has begun to rival the likes of traditional sports league when it comes to viewership from the younger generation. Now, these fans who are of legal age will be able to enjoy some cold Bud Lights when they are watching their favorite League of Legends teams compete against each other going forward.
