A new leak has possibly revealed the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character to be the one and only Crash Bandicoot.

DLC characters are on the minds of many Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community with the reveal that Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses would be the final DLC fighter for the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate challenger pack. However, Nintendo also announced that Challenger Pack 2 will be arriving in the future and will add six more fighters to the vast roster of the popular title. Now, the community is brainstorming what possible characters will make the cut in Challenger Pack 2 with one dataminer believing that Crash Bandicoot could be one of them.

Community member MandyCan recently took to Twitter to explain that Crash Bandicoot will be the first DLC fighter following the end of Challenger Pack 1 with Byleth.

Now, the reason why many are paying attention to this particular leak is that MandyCan is the dataminer who accurately leaked that Byleth would be the newest DLC fighter to be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Many believed that Devil May Cry's Dante would be added instead of Byleth, so there is some weight to this new leak.

However, as with all leaks of unconfirmed information, Crash Bandicoot being the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter should not be taken as fact until it is officially confirmed by Nintendo or another official party for the high-profile title.
