The opening weekend for the 2020 Call of Duty League season saw some impressive results take place.

The highly anticipated 2020 season for the Call of Duty League officially kicked off this past weekend in Minnesota with the Minnesota Rokkr franchise hosting the first homestand event for the global esports league. Twelve franchises representing cities and regions from across the world competed against each other in matches of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There was plenty of exciting action, as upsets and star performances populated all of the action.

The dust has finally settled from the opening weekend of the 2020 Call of Duty League season with teams now having each played two official regular-season matches.

You can find the final results from the Minnesota Rokkr Homestand event that kicked off the Call of Duty League below.

  • Atlanta FaZe - 2-0
  • Chicago Huntsmen - 2-0
  • Minnesota Rokkr - 2-0
  • Paris Legion - 2-0
  • Florida Mutineers - 1-1
  • London Royale Ravens - 1-1
  • Toronto Ultra - 1-1
  • Los Angeles Guerrillas - 1-1
  • Seattle Surge - 0-2
  • Optic Gaming Los Angeles - 0-2
  • Dallas Empire - 0-2
  • New York Subliners - 0-2

It was not surprising to see Atlanta FaZe and Chicago Huntsmen secure 2-0 records, as both franchises have some of the most talented players in professional Call of Duty on their rosters. One of the biggest surprises of the opening weekend was the 0-2 record that the Dallas Empire left Minnesota with, considering the franchise was considered to be one of the very best the Call of Duty League had to offer heading into the opening weekend.
