Former Dallas Fuel player Mickie will be moving into a full-time content creation role within the Overwatch League team's ownership organization, Envy.

The 2020 Overwatch League season will soon be kicking off. Many of the league's teams have been making roster moves leading up to the start of the third official Overwatch League season. One of the latest major roster moves to be announced by an Overwatch League was that of the Dallas Fuel. The organization revealed on January 28th that Pongphop “Mickie” Rattanasangchod would be stepping down from the Dallas Fuel roster and transitioning into a full-time content creation role within the Fuel's ownership organization, Envy.

Mickie has been a member of the Dallas Fuel since the team's inception and was a vital part of the talented Envy Overwatch roster who competed before the creation of the Overwatch League. Now, Mickie will be utilizing his electric personality to entertain Envy fans going forward.

The former Dallas Fuel player saw a great deal of success in his professional Overwatch career but did not see a great deal of playing time for the Dallas Fuel in the 2019 season. With the franchise having revamped its roster for 2020, it was likely that Mickie would not be getting much playing time this year.

However, it is not surprising to see that Envy wanted to keep the fan-favorite player within the organization and have him help bolster its content creation roster that includes former Dallas Fuel coach Justin "Jayne" Conroy. Mickie will likely be playing a role in helping to provide a positive and entertaining atmosphere at the Dallas Fuel Homestand events through the 2020 season.
