It's a blur of a Scoreboard Spotlight this week, so fasten your seat belts and keep your eyes peeled!

It feels like November is flying by, which is probably helped by some blistering submissions over the last week! In putting together our choices for TG submission highlights, we reviewed the wealth of Undisputed and Verified scores that were recently peer-reviewed and earned their place on the leaderboard. On this edition of the Scoreboard Spotlight, we take the theme of high speed action and race with it!

James Sroka – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Nintendo Switch) – Fastest Race - 200cc

James Sroka went down to the farm for an afternoon of racing action that ended with a new personal best on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. With fan-favorite Yoshi leading the charge, James tore up the dirt track at Wii Moo Moo Meadows to finish a 20cc race in 1:19.016 to take third place on the TG leaderboard.

crazymoose3k – Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (PC) – Time

Crazymoose3k took the world's fastest hedgehog and put him at the wheel of the world's fastest sports car for an exciting run on Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the PC. Although there was a chill in the air, crazymoose3k stayed warm and loose as he put in the time to grind out an inaugural fastest lap of 1:01.161 to kick off competition for the TG community.

John Brissie – Gran Turismo 4 (PlayStation 2) – Fastest Race, 3 Laps

There wasn't going to be any tests for John Brissie, just a new TG record on Gran Turismo 4 for the PlayStation 2. Sure, John earned his record on the Test Course, but there's no denying a A+ result when he crossed the finish line in 4:49.151 for a 3 lap race, lapping the previous TG record by 2 minutes set way back in 2011.

Super_LBN_Cars – Fast and Furious Super Cars (Arcade) – Fastest Race

Taking the wheel of the world's most souped-up Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Super_LBN_Cars blew away the competition with a furious new record on Fast and Furious Super Cars. Racing through the streets of Chinatown Ex, Super_LBN_Cars put his game into overdrive with a first place finish by completing the race in 1:22.96, beating the previous record by nearly 7 seconds.

Daniel Yamnitz – Pole Position (Arcade) – Fastest Qualifying Lap

In a spirited leaderboard battle, Daniel Yamnitz broke out into the lead with a new fastest qualifying lap record on the iconic arcade racer Pole Position. With some jockeying for first place over the last several weeks, Daniel raced a silky-smooth run and earned the pole position with a new TG record time of 54.71 seconds, surpassing the previous fastest time of 54.82 seconds set last month.

This covers our Scoreboard Spotlight for this week. As a reminder, these were just a few of exceptional records that were adjudicated and accepted recently. Every record that made it through verification and landed on our leaderboards has a well-deserved place in the Twin Galaxies gaming pantheon.

Keep scoring high, finishing fast, and game on!
