From the pixelated cockpit of a F-20 Tigershark, you can see a new Twin Galaxies world record on the horizon

Is it time to take a break from video games? Okay, there's work and school but you can at least read about some of the latest achievements from the Twin Galaxies community when you're not in front of your console or PC so let's dive in! This week we're heading to outer space, taking a spin on a BMX, racing to get fuel, getting ahead in the rat race, and soaring to the top of the leaderboard so let's go!

Rickster8 – Space Armada (Mattel Intellivision) – Points

Rickster8 defended valiantly Planet Earth against an unrelating attack of alien warloards to achieve video game immortality on Space Armada for the Mattel Intellivision console. Against endless bridages of attackers, Rickster8 dodged and fired against the cosmic onslaught to wrap up his retro run with a stellar 361,580 points.

Andrew Mee – California Games (Atari Lynx) – Points

Andrew Mee embraced the West Coast vibe with some new tricks on California Games for the Atari Lynx. Kicking things off with a 360 on his BMX, Andrew kept up the aerial stunts across the entire course and kicked back with an inaugural score of 641 points.

Ocelo78 – Gravitar (Atari 2600) –  Points

Ocelo78 fired up his 4-switch “Vader” Atari 2600 console and answered the call with a new personal best on Gravitar. With a mission to wipe out enemy bunkers on alien planets to make the solar systems safe, Ocelo78 made the folks from Atari Mission Control proud with 36,450 points to take second place.

Marco1019 – Radar Rat Race (Commodore 64) – Points

Marco1019 joined the virtual rat race and gobbled up a new high score on Radar Race Race for the Commodore 64 computer. Steering a mouse on the hunt for cheese with hungry rats nipping at his feet, Marco scooped up enough cheese to finish with 74,880 points.

EVN – U.N. Squadron (Arcade) – Points

EVN took the fight to the Project 4 arms dealers and blasted a new high score on Capcom's 1989 shooter U.N. Squadron. Taking to the skies as Shin Kazama in his F-20 Tigershark, EVN cleared all 10 missions on a single credit - including the final showdown the Project 4 mothership – and unlocked a new era of peace for war-ravaged Kutal with a TG record of 1,254,030 points.
