The race for glory in the EU LCS is still just as convoluted and exciting as ever before, with H2K knocking down Schalke to keep their dreams alive.

Every single match is a do-or-die game for the teams of the EU LCS, as every single match counts if they want to either secure a spot in playoffs, or keep others from disrupting their plans for the post season. For H2K, it’s very simple, win everything and hope that’s enough.

The match started out relatively slow, with both teams opting to secure neutral objectives, rather than going for early kills. While H2K went for the Dragon, Schalke secured the Rift Herald, as both teams look for the opportunity to launch their assault. H2K struck first, as jungler Ilyas "Shook" Hartsema paid a visit to the bot lane to secure first blood.

With that initial pressure now out of the way, the action began to flow a little more smoothly, as both teams traded turrets before H2K again secured the next Dragon. More skirmishes in the bot lane popped up, as both teams looked for a way to press the attack, though it was H2K that began to apply more map pressure, taking down turrets and picking up another kill.

Schalke was able to fire back eventually, claiming their first kill and taking down another turret, but when it came time for a more important neutral objective, like the Baron, H2K had everything they needed to secure the buff, and began to move about the map to secure more of a lead.

With mounting pressure across the map, Schalke tried their best to defend their base, but H2K proved too strong with the added power of Baron, moving through the defences like paper and destroying an inhibitor to open the base to minion assault.

After falling back to secure the second Baron, H2K returned to the base of Schalke, again destroying inhibitors and taking down the frontline of Schalke. With very little standing in defence, Schalke were forced to watch as H2K took down the last of their defences and ended the game.
