The Battle Royale genre war is spreading to your pockets thanks to PUBG Mobile

The success of the Battle Royale genre is astounding, with Fortnite streams breaking records, and eSports tournaments being announced in a wave of good news for the genre. With all the attention and hype being built up, it’s no surprise that developers want to seize the moment and look to capture what elusive free time players have left.

Epic Games recently announced that they would be expanding their mega popular game Fortnite Battle Royale to the mobile market, and it seems they’re not the only ones looking to monopolize your free time. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has released their version of the game on mobile in the US today, ready to be played on iOS and Android. While other regions will have to wait just a little while, those who live in the US and are looking for some sweet, sweet takeaway chicken can jump on right now and shoot to their hearts content.

Once you have the game, it’s just a simple login with either your Facebook, or a Guest account, then you can make your character, choose a username, and start jumping out of that plane. The rest after that is up to you, so start practicing those trigger fingers and get out there, seize that Chicken Dinner, and make sure you keep a phone charger handy.
