With the recent rise of popularity for Epic Games' Fortnite Battle Royale title on Twitch, many content creators have switched their focus on the massively popular game, which has seen them experience massive growth. Looking to jump on the bandwagon, controversial YouTuber Logan Paul has announced that he has created a Twitch channel and is planning to stream Fortnite. Logan Paul announced the plan in one of his latest videos where he cites the recent collaboration stream between Tyler "Ninja" Belvins and Drake as inspiration for the new career move.
His Twitch channel, LoganPaulWasTaken, already has over 236,000 followers despite not having gone live once since it was created. With over 16 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, it is not shocking to see many of his fans flock over to the streaming platform to support his new endeavor. However, many members of the Twitch community are wary and concerned about the controversial figure being allowed to stream on the platform, due to past publicized controversies. These controversies include his filming of a deceased person in the Aokigahara Forest of Japan, known as the "suicide forest", and the tasering of a dead rat in a following video. Logan Paul faced massive backlash for the videos, and in February YouTube suspended all advertisment on Paul's videos.
Dear @LoganPaul,

You make fun of suicide, you clickbait videos including recently @Ninja, you manipulate young kids for your content, and I am absolutely positive you are straight garbage at video games. We don’t want you on Twitch. Keep the trash away.
Sincerely, everyone
With the implementation of new community guidelines by Twitch that focus on ridding the platform of controversial content that Logan Paul has been known for as of late, it remains to be seen if the platform will allow the YouTuber to begin his streaming career at all or if it will take another controversial moment from the public figure before Twitch decides it is best to not have Logan Paul creating content on their site. At the time of this writing, Logan Paul has not publicly commented on when his first Fortnite stream will be taking place.
