After sweeping ROCCAT 3-0, Splyce have secured their spot in the Semi-finals as they continue their campaign towards an EU LCS Championship.

As the net closed in on ROCCAT’s hopes for a semi-finals berth, Splyce prepared to seal the deal and sweep the series. Here’s a brief breakdown of the match.

ROCCAT scored first blood with a gank in the bot lane, but Splyce managed to fire back quickly in the top lane. In the aftermath, Splyce had advantage on the bot side, using the pressure to secure the first Dragon of the game. ROCCAT managed to find more kills in both the top and bot lane, but Splyce fired back in the mid lane. A massive team fight broke out in the bot lane, but both teams suffered from the fight, having to pull back after equalizing the score.

More skirmishes continued to break out across the map, before the mid lane again became the focus for both teams. Splyce continued to apply map pressure, catching out members of ROCCAT before rotating to secure their third Dragon of the game. With Splyce pulling back after their Dragon, ROCCAT attempted to rush down the Baron. Unfortunately, Splyce returned much faster than expected, catching out three members in the pit and taking them down before securing the Baron buff for themselves.

With the power of the Baron buff, Splyce engaged onto ROCCAT as they sieged the base, and in the resulting team fight managed to take down the entire ROCCAT squad. With nothing left in their way, Splyce destroyed the infrastructure of the ROCCAT base, ending the game and giving them the series.
