Anything that appears after FOR POTENTIALLY FASTER VERIFICATION is not the rules. It�s for potentially faster verification. No you didn�t know it was an extra ball, but you did know you had extra ball settings in v220 that weren�t present in the rule set. And you played on them anyway.
