Additional Info
This track has been created to address the large disparities in score which are possible playing Double Dragon using different methods.
As a #1 score is no longer able to be submitted in the original Double Dragon track UNLESS specific point-pressing tactics are employed, this track has been created to allow progression of both scoring tactics via separate tracks- which not only legitimise, but allow development and progression of both methods of play fairly, but separately.
To respect players principles, playing intentions and choices (and assist adjudicators), this new track will allow competitors to submit through either one of the two tracks by choosing to either;
a) Play Double Dragon through as intended per game design, maximising scoring but without utilising point-pressing tactics (this track), or;
b) Play Double Dragon with the intent to exploit game-affecting attributes to their fullest extent, the aim of which being to achieve (or as close as possible to) a max-out score utilising point-pressing tactics to maximise gains (existing track)
