Provisional Rules
This is for fastest solo victory in a 100-man Battle Royale match in Fortnite.
The timer begins the moment the player is free to disembark the battle-bus, as denoted by the on-screen timer. This generally varies between 10-16 in-game seconds, after the battle-bus first appears flying towards the island.
The timer begins at this point irrespective of whether or not the player has chosen to leave the bus yet or not.
The timer ends when the “player wins the match” message appears on the screen and should be entered to the measurement of whole seconds.
Attempt can be on any map, as randomly selected by the game servers.
Players can land anywhere on the map as they choose.
Attempt is for the Solo Mode.
Must be a public match. No pre-arranged private matches where the player has control over his opponents.
Number of players competing in a match must be no less than 95 as displayed in the in-game player counter at the start of each match.
Fortnite allows for cross-platform play. The attempt must be played with and against players of the same platform.
This is for both the Early Access game, released in September 2017, and the finished version of the game that releases in late 2018.
The Battle Royale mode is currently available as both a free version, and in the paid-for “full version” (which includes the PvE mode).
Players can use any cosmetics including character skins, gliders and pickaxe skins, as these do not affect the skill level or gameplay.
If there is a known server failure causing a mass of players to drop-out during a match, the attempt is void.
Players are free to use whatever weapons and items they may acquire in-game.
The full attempt/match must be recorded for evidence purposes. This includes showing the menu screen before a match.
