QUESTIONS FOR COMMUNITY:
This is for the Early Access game. Are we concerned about possible features the finished version may have? Could that potentially impact future times/attempts, or is that inconsequential?
If players make a kill with a sniper rifle while engaged in close-combat, and not in sniper mode, are you happy that the kill would still count?

This is for the most sniper kills in a 100-man Battle Royale match in Fortnite.
Players can use any number of the different variations of sniper rifle available in the game, including any of the different rarities.
The full list is:
Bolt-Action (AWP) – rare, epic, legendary
Semi Auto – epic, legendary
Hunting Rifle – uncommon, rare
Any kill with the sniper rifle is accepted towards the total, even kills achieved in close-combat while not in sniper mode.
Players are free to use any other weapons and items they may acquire in-game. However, only sniper skills will count towards the final total.
Players do not have to win the match in order to submit a score. If the player is killed during the match, their score is still valid.
Sniper kills do not need to be consecutive.
Number of players competing in a match must be no less than 90 as displayed in the in-game player counter at the start of each match.
Fortnite allows for cross-platform play. The attempt must be played with and against players of the same platform.
This is for both the Early Access game, released in September 2017, and the finished version of the game that releases in late 2018.
The Battle Royale mode is currently available as both a free version, and in the paid-for “full version” (which includes the PvE mode).
Attempt can be on any map, as randomly selected by the game servers.
Players can land anywhere on the map as they choose.
Attempt is for the Solo Mode.
Must be a public match. No pre-arranged private matches where the player has control over his opponents.
Players can use any cosmetics including character skins, gliders and pickaxe skins, as these do not affect the skill level or gameplay.
The full match must be recorded for evidence submission purposes including the menu screen before a match.
