Discussion
There's a small correction to make: The title of this game is actually Jouste and not Joust e. Paul McCherry, who along with Kim McCherry designed this game, refers to it as Jouste in this thread:

Paul noted in the comment thread that this is the unofficial conversion of Joust and added "basically we just went down to the local arcade and learned the games." (He and his brother are also behind the unofficial conversion of Krazy Kars.)
