Time may come from either an appropriate Arcade mode Race, appropriate Custom Race mode's Race or Solo event. Any vehicle may be used and may be auto-customised by the game where possible. Career Mode is NOT permitted.

Note: Fastest Lap times can come from the final lap of a race but the game does not display this time. Such lap times can be worked out in one of two methods:

• They can be calculated by deducting the prior lap times from the completed race time.
• If the course record is set, the player can start another race for this track and the record will be displayed correctly there. Referees are obliged to carry out the above calculation to be certain.

As the times are displayed in a colour scheme sometimes matching that of the player's car, players are politely requested to ensure their colour schemes does not obfuscate the times. Use of a colour scheme which results in an illegible display may result in disqualification.

Wall Riding is prohibited. Wall Riding is the act of using a wall to manoeuvre around a corner instead of attempting the corner normally.
