Discussion
As far as I'm concerned the 1984 record is the final record for the game. All later "records" used exploits of the game mechanics, while my record was done completely without exploits completely with timing alone. I also beat the record in 1985, but a record of all the scores was not recorded as confirmed by Walter Day. To sum it up any records which use exploits and aren't played on the "hardest" setting should be invalidated. Exploits are a joke and take all skill out of the game which becomes insanely difficult once your opponent's speed doubles.
