? For the purpose of this record, a castle is a stone block structure that has four walls, four turrets with battlements, an opening with a portcullis, a water filled moat around the castle and a wooden bridge crossing the moat.

The attempt must take place in a user created, featureless, mob free, flat, custom world.

The game mode must be set to "creative".

The following guidelines refer to how to set up an attempt and the castle specifications:

The player is must have the following in their hot bar, in any order they choose.

Stone Bricks

Oak Fence

Oak Wood Planks

Oak Wood Stairs

Bucket of Water

Empty Bucket

Grass Block

Banner (colour of players choosing)

The timer begins as soon as the player places the first block.

The player must build a stone block structure that has four walls, four turrets with battlements, an opening with a portcullis, a water filled moat around the castle and a wooden bridge crossing the moat.

The castles dimensions are as follows (please also refer to the images provided):

Total Castle surface area: 15 blocks?

Walls: (W)idth 11 stone bricks x (H)eight 4 stone bricks x (D)epth 1 stone brick

Turrets: W 2 stone bricks x H 5 stone bricks x D 2 stone bricks

Battlements: W 4 stone bricks x H 2 stone bricks x D 4 stone bricks

A 4 block space must be cleared in the middle of the battlement and a stone brick placed on each of the 4 corners.

Portcullis: W 3 block x H 3 block space in one of the walls

Space filled with Oak Fence blocks.

Above the portcullis there must be a 4 stone brick pyramid on top of the wall (3 block layer followed with 1 block on top.

Moat: 3 block spaces away from castle walls. Moat itself: 3 blocks wide x 1 block deep dug into ground.

Moat must be filled with water. Water does not need to be level but must cover the bottom of the moat.

Drawbridge: W 3 oak wood planks x D 3 oak wood planks

Drawbridge must have oak wood stairs at both ends of the bridge, facing the appropriate way.

If the player accidentally mines a grass block out of the surroundings that is not part of the castle or moat, the player must replace that grass block.

If the player accidentally places a brick that does not conform to the above specifications it must be removed.

Once the castle is built, the player must place a coloured banner on the top of the 4 stone brick pyramid above the portcullis. The time ends when this banner is placed.

Note: The guide describes how the overall castle must be built, however it can be built in any order, barring the placing of the banner, which must be the final action.

Video evidence of the entire attempt MUST be provided. Screen capture may be submitted as extra evidence, but camera footage that includes both the player and the player’s screen in full view must be submitted. This footage can begin facing the player and then pan away from the player towards the screen (so that only the screen is in view for the actual gameplay). If recorded this way the footage must be uncut and unedited.

Video evidence requirements:

• Video footage of the whole attempt.

• Player must show the game disk/card/cartridge, followed by them inserting the game into the console (For PC, player must show the gaming client they are using to load the game and load it from there e.g. Steam, Origin).

• The player must show the controller they intend to use for the attempt, pressing all the buttons to show it is unmodified.

This can be achieved by performing an obvious action on screen and listing the time stamp of the action in the evidence description for both the in-camera and direct-capture footage.

Video evidence must be uploaded directly to Twin Galaxies for consideration. Third party hosted video performances will not be considered. (example: YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)

This record may only be attempted on a PC, an unmodified version of a commercially available video games console or an unmodified arcade cabinet / board. Alterations to hardware and/or software outside of those released or endorsed by the manufacturer will result in disqualification.

Video game records may only be attempted on platforms or systems for which the game in question has been commercially released with the support of the platform manufacturer.

Software or hardware emulators are not permissible except where these are endorsed by both the game’s developers and the platform holders where applicable.

Where the game used for the attempt carries an age rating in Europe or the United States, all participants must be of the minimum age required to buy that game according to its PEGI or ESRB rating, whichever is higher.

• This record may only be attempted in a world created to the specifications in the guidelines.

Rules for Fastest time to build a house in Minecraft in survival mode

In order to attempt this record a new world with the following settings must be created:

Game Mode: Survival

Difficulty: Peaceful

World options:-

Only select: “Superflat world” and “disable auto save”. Deselect all other options.

World size: Any

Biome scale: Any

Leave seed generator for world blank

Customize Superflat World:

Layers: Layers of one x height set in the following order:

1. Once the player loads into the world the attempt can begin.

2. At the sound of a loud starting signal, the player may start the attempt.

3. The player must mine the necessary materials in order to build a wooden plank house, five blocks in width, five blocks in length and three blocks in height.

4. The house must have one door and three glass windows.

5. Inside the house there must be four torches, one crafting table, one furnace and one bed.

6. The house must be built above ground.

7. There must be a two block gap in one wall for the door.

8. There must be a one block gap in each of the remaining three walls for a glass window.

9. There must be a torch placed on all four walls.

10. The bed, crafting table and furnace can be placed anywhere inside the house. However, they must not be blocking the door.

11. The attempt ends as soon as the player has finished the house, placed all the necessary items inside, puts the controller down and says “stop”.

This record is for the fastest time to build a functionally flying rocket and break a block with your fist at point Y50 (Y= height coordinate) in Minecraft survival mode.

This record can only be attempted by an individual.

This record is measured in minute(s) and second(s).

This record can only be attempted on the PC bedrock edition only.

For the purpose of this record, a rocket is defined as a self-propelling devise in Minecraft that rises directly upwards, travelling into the sky indefinitely, and is capable of carrying a playable character.

The player must create a default, flat world that has no features or mobs.

Starting in 'Creative' mode, the player must place a block of ice at point Y: 50 anywhere in the world. To do this, break a block of grass in the ground and fill it with a block of ice, then stack blocks of ice into a tower until the coordinate readout says Y: 50 at the point where the last block was placed.

The player must then break all blocks in the tower leaving just the single ice block at point Y: 50 in the sky and the one embedded in the ground as an indicator for where the one in the sky is.

The player must then clear and fill their hot bar with only the materials they wish to use in order to create a rocket. The player is not permitted to use any resources not present in their hot bar after this point.

They player is not permitted to mine for any additional resources. Any additional tiles picked up must not be used.

The player must switch the game mode to survival for the attempt.

The player must start the attempt on the ground with the pause menu open.

The player must capture the full attempt set up on video.

The attempt guidelines are as follows:

At the sound of a starting signal the player may un-pause the game to begin their attempt and the timer will start.

The player must build a rocket like device that can carry them up to point Y: 50 so that the player can break the block of ice with their fist. The design of the rocket is as the claimants discretion.

The device does not need to resemble a traditional rocket, it simply must be capable of moving directly upwards due to a mechanical process, that once activated, does not require any further human input.

The player is not permitted to simply stack blocks straight up or build a staircase like structure in order to get to point Y: 50.

They player may stack blocks or build a staircase as part of the construction of the rocket or to mount it before take off. This staircase is not permitted to be more than 5 blocks in height.

The player is not permitted to use any magic items or weapons during the attempt.

The player must ride their rocket up to point Y: 50.

The timer ends as soon as the player breaks the ice block at point Y: 50 with their fist.

No weapons are allowed to be used to break the block, it must be the players fist.

This record is for the fastest time to tame and stable 10 horses in Minecraft survival mode.

This record can only be attempted by an individual.

This record is measured in minute(s) and second(s).

This record can be attempted on the legacy console and console bedrock editions only.

The player must first start by setting up the attempt. Set up guidelines are as follows:

The player must create a default, flat world that has no features or mobs.

The player may spawn in creative mode in order to set up the record.

The player must build a 50 block x 21 block enclosure using fence gates. The player must use fence blocks at the 4 corners of the enclosure.

The player must then create 10 stables at one end of the enclosure. To create the stables, place a gate 2 blocks down from one of the shorter sides in one of the rectangles corners.

Following the shorter, 21 block side of the rectangle, alternately place a gate followed by a fence, down the length of that line. This should result in a line of 10 stable doors.

Finish the stables by using fence blocks for the walls between the stables. This should leave you with 10 clearly sectioned off stables.

All stable doors must be closed.

The player must then create a fence gate wall every 12 blocks.

This should result in an enclosure that has 4 sections with 10 stables at one end.

The player must use a spawn horse egg to spawn at least 10 horses in the enclosure section at the opposite end to the stables.

If the player spawns a foal (baby horse) they must feed it apples / golden apples / golden carrots until it turns into a fully grown horse.

The player must then feed each horse some apples, golden apples or golden carrots in order to raise the chances of being able to tame each horse.

The player must then mount each horse and tame it. This happens once red hearts erupt out of the horses head.

Once all 10 horses have been tamed, the player must remove all items from their hot bar and inventory and put 10 saddles only into their inventory.

A gameplay feature of Minecraft is that horses may breed over time. This will not affect the results of an attempt as long as there are ten stabled horses at its end.

The player must switch the game mode back to survival mode prior to the start of an attempt.

The attempt set up will be finished once the player enters an empty stable, closes the door and opens their inventory.

The player must capture the full attempt set up on video.

The attempt guidelines are as follows:

The player must start in a stable, but may choose whichever stable they want to start in.

The attempt starts as soon as the player exits their inventory.

The player must walk/run to the horses, and may open gates en route to do so, however each gate must be closed again after walking/running through it. It is not acceptable to leave any gates open during the attempt. If a gate is opened and then not closed once passed though, the attempt will be disqualified.

The player must saddle, ride and stable all 10 horses.

The player must jump over all three rows of fences with each horse and jump it into a free stable. It is not acceptable to open a gate or stable door allow a horse to pass through.

If the player accidentally jumps a horse out of the enclosure, they must jump it back in again.

The attempt ends once all 10 horses have been stabled.

The timer stops once the player has stabled all 10 horses and opens the pause menu.

This record is for the fastest time to build a functionally flying rocket and break a block with your fist at point Y50 (Y= height coordinate) in Minecraft survival mode.

This record can only be attempted by an individual.

This record is measured in minute(s) and second(s).

This record can only be attempted on the PC bedrock edition only.

For the purpose of this record, a rocket is defined as a self-propelling devise in Minecraft that rises directly upwards, travelling into the sky indefinitely, and is capable of carrying a playable character.

The player must create a default, flat world that has no features or mobs.

Starting in 'Creative' mode, the player must place a block of ice at point Y: 50 anywhere in the world. To do this, break a block of grass in the ground and fill it with a block of ice, then stack blocks of ice into a tower until the coordinate readout says Y: 50 at the point where the last block was placed.

The player must then break all blocks in the tower leaving just the single ice block at point Y: 50 in the sky and the one embedded in the ground as an indicator for where the one in the sky is.

The player must then clear and fill their hot bar with only the materials they wish to use in order to create a rocket. The player is not permitted to use any resources not present in their hot bar after this point.

They player is not permitted to mine for any additional resources. Any additional tiles picked up must not be used.

The player must switch the game mode to survival for the attempt.

The player must start the attempt on the ground with the pause menu open.

The player must capture the full attempt set up on video.

The attempt guidelines are as follows:

At the sound of a starting signal the player may un-pause the game to begin their attempt and the timer will start.

The player must build a rocket like device that can carry them up to point Y: 50 so that the player can break the block of ice with their fist. The design of the rocket is as the claimants discretion.

The device does not need to resemble a traditional rocket, it simply must be capable of moving directly upwards due to a mechanical process, that once activated, does not require any further human input.

The player is not permitted to simply stack blocks straight up or build a staircase like structure in order to get to point Y: 50.

They player may stack blocks or build a staircase as part of the construction of the rocket or to mount it before take off. This staircase is not permitted to be more than 5 blocks in height.

The player is not permitted to use any magic items or weapons during the attempt.

The player must ride their rocket up to point Y: 50.

The timer ends as soon as the player breaks the ice block at point Y: 50 with their fist.

No weapons are allowed to be used to break the block, it must be the players fist.

Screen capture may be submitted as extra evidence, but camera footage that includes both the player and the player’s screen in full view must be submitted. Record Guidelines:

The player must first start by setting up a new world for the attempt. World set up guidelines are as follows:

Please refer to the pictures below (figures 1-4) for what options to chose when creating a 'World' for an attempt.

The superflat world must contain the following layers in the following order:

1. Snow x1

2. Oak Wood x1

3. Cobblestone x1

4. Coal Ore x1

5. White Wool x1

6. Black Wool x 1

7. Bedrock

The player must spawn into this world in survival mode.

The player must capture the full attempt set up clearly on video.

The attempt guidelines are as follows:

The player must mine all the necessary resources so that they can create an igloo that contains a bed, a crafting table, a furnace and 4 torches.

The dimensions of the Igloo must be Width 7 blocks x Depth 5 blocks x Height 4 blocks.

There must be a 2 block hole surrounded by a 2 block deep and 3 block high archway to be used as an entrance.

The interior of the igloo can be arranged anyway the player wishes. However, any floor space not containing the bed, crafting table or furnace, must be covered with black carpet. The black carpet must extend into the entrance archway The torches must be placed on a wall.

The attempt ends once the igloo has been built, all the furniture is in place and the player opens the pause menu.

This record is for the fastest time to tame and stable 10 horses in Minecraft survival mode.

This record can only be attempted by an individual.

This record is measured in minute(s) and second(s).

This record can be attempted on the legacy console and console bedrock editions only.

The player must first start by setting up the attempt. Set up guidelines are as follows:

The player must create a default, flat world that has no features or mobs.

The player may spawn in creative mode in order to set up the record.

The player must build a 50 block x 21 block enclosure using fence gates. The player must use fence blocks at the 4 corners of the enclosure.

The player must then create 10 stables at one end of the enclosure. To create the stables, place a gate 2 blocks down from one of the shorter sides in one of the rectangles corners.

Following the shorter, 21 block side of the rectangle, alternately place a gate followed by a fence, down the length of that line. This should result in a line of 10 stable doors.

Finish the stables by using fence blocks for the walls between the stables. This should leave you with 10 clearly sectioned off stables.

All stable doors must be closed.

The player must then create a fence gate wall every 12 blocks.

This should result in an enclosure that has 4 sections with 10 stables at one end.

The player must use a spawn horse egg to spawn at least 10 horses in the enclosure section at the opposite end to the stables.

If the player spawns a foal (baby horse) they must feed it apples / golden apples / golden carrots until it turns into a fully grown horse.

The player must then feed each horse some apples, golden apples or golden carrots in order to raise the chances of being able to tame each horse.

The player must then mount each horse and tame it. This happens once red hearts erupt out of the horses head.

Once all 10 horses have been tamed, the player must remove all items from their hot bar and inventory and put 10 saddles only into their inventory.

A gameplay feature of Minecraft is that horses may breed over time. This will not affect the results of an attempt as long as there are ten stabled horses at its end.

The player must switch the game mode back to survival mode prior to the start of an attempt.

The attempt set up will be finished once the player enters an empty stable, closes the door and opens their inventory.

The player must capture the full attempt set up on video.

The attempt guidelines are as follows:

The player must start in a stable, but may choose whichever stable they want to start in.

The attempt starts as soon as the player exits their inventory.

The player must walk/run to the horses, and may open gates en route to do so, however each gate must be closed again after walking/running through it. It is not acceptable to leave any gates open during the attempt. If a gate is opened and then not closed once passed though, the attempt will be disqualified.

The player must saddle, ride and stable all 10 horses.

The player must jump over all three rows of fences with each horse and jump it into a free stable. It is not acceptable to open a gate or stable door allow a horse to pass through.

If the player accidentally jumps a horse out of the enclosure, they must jump it back in again.

The attempt ends once all 10 horses have been stabled.

The timer stops once the player has stabled all 10 horses and opens the pause menu.
